Do You Want to be Inspired?
Our volunteers inspire and empower thousands of women each year on their path to financial independence. Dress for Success Triangle NC could not exist without the dedicated support of our individual volunteers who deliver 90 percent of our services each year.
how to help
Become a Coach - Coaches provide support, advise and encouragement to women during their job searches.
As an Image Coach, you will help a woman choose a professional outfit for her interviews and/or place of employment that will boost her self-confidence. Click HERE for a detailed description.
As a Career Coach, you will help a woman develop or edit her resume and cover letter and ready her for interviews. Basic computer skills are required. Click HERE for a detailed description.
Our coaches are key to the success of our clients and organization. Most coaches work one three-hour shift a week, two shifts a month, or one Saturday a month. Must be 23 years of age and training is required.
Our Boutique Sales are fund-raising events where people shop for our cause. Volunteers assist with store preparation, customer service, and operation of the sale. No prior training is required. Minimum age is 18 years old or 13 with a parent/guardian.

Work in our Durham or Raleigh donation centers to sort, tag, and organize clothing donations. Help make sure we have gorgeous clothes to empower our clients.
We are currently looking for volunteers in both locations, but particularly those who can fulfill a second Saturday of the month, 9:30-12:30 shift in Durham.
Represent Dress for Success Triangle NC at outreach events throughout the community to educate potential clients and volunteers about our services.
We host two major fundraisers a year, our Celebrate Success Gala in the spring and our Women Making Change luncheon in the fall. Committee members serve in the capacity that best matches their skills, interests and time limitations.
