Current Volunteer Opportunities
Career Coaches & Stylists
Career Coaches: Help clients build resumes, write cover letters, and prep for interviews.
Stylists: Support women in choosing attire that fits their goals and boosts confidence.
Schedule: Weekdays & some Saturdays. Advanced computer skills required for Career Coaches.
Requirements: Minimum 23 years old with 5 years of experience.
Mock Interview Liaison
Tech comfort required; training provided.
Career-Building Webinar Leader
Introduce speakers, moderate chat, and close sessions during our weekly virtual workshops.
Time: Wednesdays at noon, as your schedule allows.
Google Career Certificate Mentor
3–4 hours/month commitment.
Mobile Boutique Team
Coaches: Style women at community events, register participants, and introduce our services.
Prep Volunteers: Sort and stage clothing for upcoming Mobile Boutique events.
Location: Across the Triangle and Eastern NC. Events typically last 2–4 hours.
Boutique Sale Support
Great opportunity to meet other volunteers and staff. No training required.
Minimum age: 18 (or 13 with parent/guardian).
Donation Center Specialist
Lead Volunteers: Help train and oversee other volunteers during shifts.
Minimum age: 18 (or 13 with parent/guardian).
Dress for Success Triangle Events Representative
Represent Dress for Success Triangle at fairs, festivals, and info sessions.
Flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends.
Volunteer Interest Form
If you are new to volunteering, please fill out the interest form to receive information from our volunteer coordinator. Please use a computer or iPad to fill out the volunteer interest form. It will not work on a cell phone.
If you have completed the form in the past, please do not complete it again. If you are a current volunteer and need to update your information, please send your updated information to Laurin Norwood.
Once you fill out the form, our Volunteer Coordinator will send you the new volunteer orientation video.
Help Make the Success Sprint Possible

What does it take to create one powerful day of connection, encouragement, and career support for more than 100 women? It takes a community.
We are looking for approximately 50 volunteers to help bring Success Sprint to life on October 28 at Coastal Credit Union. There are many unique ways to contribute, whether you volunteer individually or bring a team.
Opportunities include:
- Serving as a panelist with expertise in résumés, interviewing, LinkedIn, networking, or personal branding
- Providing 10-minute coaching sessions based on our Personal Pathways
- Taking professional headshots
- Helping women find employers and community resources
- Assisting with registration, lunch, and general event support
- Supporting the Mobile Boutique
- Helping create a welcoming, organized, and encouraging experience throughout the day
We are also seeking employers for our afternoon job fair and community resource partners who can connect women with valuable services and support.

Group Volunteering
Group volunteering is one of the most rewarding ways to give back and strengthen bonds while supporting women on their path to career and financial mobility. Whether you’re a corporate team, community group, or group of friends, your collective time and energy directly help women build confidence, gain employment, and thrive.
Companies, clubs, and friend groups often come together to serve by assisting in our donation centers, helping at boutique sales, preparing for Mobile Boutique events, or supporting our signature programs like the Celebrate Success Gala and Success Sprint.
