In 2022, Dress for Success Triangle established our Wilson boutique as a way to build a presence in Eastern NC. Nearly four years later, we are evolving that model so that we can reach more women in more communities…instead of remaining fixed in one location, we are able to focus on bringing our services to you!
What is the advantage of the Mobile Boutique over having the storefront on Barnes Street?
The Mobile Boutique is able to bring DFST services directly to women in the places where they already live, work, and access community resources. Through partnerships with libraries, workforce organizations, social service agencies, community events, and other trusted local organizations, we will be able to travel throughout Wilson and surrounding Eastern North Carolina communities each week.
Can I still access all of your services?
Absolutely! We have so many virtual services available to empower women in their careers: the Going Places Network, our Career Pathways series, our weekly Wednesday Webinars with an archive of hundreds of relevant topics, one-on-one career coaching tailored to each woman’s specific needs, enrollment and support in a variety of Google Certificates programs, and a Virtual Career Center stocked with resources to aid women on their career journeys. Best of all, our Mobile Boutique is equipped with a Wi-Fi hotspot, so women are able to access these resources wherever we are parked!
Can I still volunteer as a coach or in other capacities?
Yes! We rely on our volunteers in every aspect of our programs, and that will not change with our transition to the Mobile Boutique. Please check out all of our current volunteer opportunities HERE.
Are you still taking clothing donations?
Yes, although it will look slightly different than it has in the past in Wilson: we will take clothing donations from 10am-3pm on specific donation days. Our first Donation Day following this new model will be on Friday, October 2, 2026. The Mobile Boutique will be parked in the back lot of First Baptist Church in Wilson – come by with your clean and gently-used womens’ clothing to help empower other women on their way to interviews and new workplaces!
I’m a community partner – can I still refer my clients to you?
Please do! By filling out our referral form we will be able to work with you and your clients to determine the best way that we can partner. If you’d like to see if the Mobile Boutique can travel directly to your neighborhood, please reach out to us directly or fill out a request form HERE.
How will I be able to find the Mobile Boutique?
We are keeping an up-to-date calendar of events and locations where the Mobile Boutique will be present. You can find that calendar on our main website HERE. We will also be posting frequently on social media, so be sure to follow us on Facebook (Dress for Success Triangle – Wilson & Eastern NC) and Instagram (@dressforsuccesswilsoneastnc) for the latest updates!
