Katrina's Success Story
After serving in the U.S. Army as a Logistics Specialist, Katrina returned to North Carolina ready to start a new civilian career, but unsure where to begin. “I had strong skills,” Katrina shared, “but I didn’t know how to translate my military experience into language that employers would understand.” That’s when she connected with Dress for Success Triangle through a local job fair and signed up to begin working with the organization.
Building New Skills, At No Cost
Katrina enrolled in the Going Places Network, a career prep course offered in partnership with Wake Technical Community College, where she received resume assistance, job-search support, and interview preparation. She later completed a Google Career Certificate in Project Management, an opportunity she accessed through Dress for Success Triangle, all at no cost to her.
