Tia Lucas: is a Rocky Mount native, former educator, speaker, and mentor passionate about helping youth and young adults succeed. She is the Chief Innovator of Dynamik Learning, where she empowers students and families through innovative tutoring and mentoring. A graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, Tia has served as both an educator and GED instructor. She also co-owns Mixers Kocktail Bar, a vibrant community space in Rocky Mount. Oyama Mapp: Oyama has worked in Talent Acquisition for over 8 years and volunteered with Dress for Success Triangle in several capacities including Career Coaching, Workshop Leadership, and Mentorship for the GPN since 2019. Julie Anne Jacobson is an operations leader with over a decade of experience improving efficiency, safety, and performance in global supply chain, distribution, and manufacturing. She has held leadership roles at Amazon, Walmart, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Boeing, and Prysmian, driving results through lean strategies, data-driven decisions, and people-focused leadership. With certifications in Lean Six Sigma and Project Management and a Master’s in Management, Julie is passionate about building strong teams and fostering continuous improvement. Tierra Norwood is the owner of Ajon’s Professional Solutions, an award-winning business development and marketing agency named 2023 Small Business of the Year by the Women’s Business Center of North Carolina. A former Google Coach and current National Small Business Digital Trainer for Main Street America, she has supported more than 2,000 businesses across the state. In 2025, she launched Ajon’s Media House, contracted with TikTok’s Live Creator Network. Noell Ochieng creates software eLearning and freelances as a tech content writer. Curious by nature, Noell thrives on researching and learning new things—her current obsession is exploring AI in learning design. After transitioning from a career in public education to one in tech, Noell realized the importance of creating relationships and owning your personal and career growth. Originally from Michigan, she lives in Wake Forest, North Carolina with three almost adult kids and two cats. In her free time, Noell enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and gardening.
