Our mission is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women thrive in work and life.
Our career coaches address and eliminate the frustrating obstacles that may arise during a search for employment. Women meet one-on-one with trained career coaches to assess how their skills and experience match job requirements, how to communicate transferable skills, update resumes and cover letter writing and revisions. Coaches also help women navigate social media to optimize their job search process.
We want our clients to feel confident while job searching and in the first few weeks of employment. Once they have scheduled an interview, our image coaches help them choose an interview outfit and will also provide guidance and support for the upcoming interview.
Going Places Network is our 10-week job acquisition class which supports women as they address obstacles to securing employment. Participants receive tools and resources to become empowered and succeed in their job searches. Going Places Net offers skills assessment, mock interview practice and networking opportunities. More than 1000 women have graduated from Going Places Network in the Triangle and 74% have secured employment.
Having completed the crucial first step—securing employment—women in our Professional Women's Group (PWG) programs focus on retaining their jobs and developing their professional skills. The Professional Women’s Group offers two programs, Boot Camp and PWG Networking to ensure that each woman is moving towards a meaningful and sustainable career and financial independence.
The women Dress for Success serves are inspired to lead, to advance in their careers and to give back to their communities.
